How to find us
Quinta da Lontra is situated in central Portugal, on the Rio Mondego, near the village of Póvoa de Midões, Tábua.
Our closest airports are Lisbon and Porto international.
Quinta da Lontra is in a rural location and public transport is limited. We recommend that guests hire a car if they wish to explore this region in more detail.
Driving
By car from Porto Airport
The A1/IP3 motorways take approximately 2 hrs.
By car from Lisbon Airport
The A1/IP3 motorways take approximately 2.5hrs
Tolls are in effect on motorways, you can pay at the toll booths in Euros or with a credit card, however car hire companies will normally advise and offer a pre-payment system for any toll charges.
The final leg of the journey to the Quinta is via an unpaved road of 1km, normal hire cars are fine but low sports cars may struggle. We ask all guests to follow the directions that we send to avoid getting lost on arrival to the valley.
